This Privacy Statement sets out how I use and protect any information that you give me. It applies to data shared electronically, stored in my computer system or in hard copy.

I provide procurement and tendering consultancy services to a broad client base comprising public and private sector clients. I do not share or sell clients’ details with other organisations or individuals for marketing or any other purposes. Clients’ information is used only in connection with the assignment/s with which I am helping them and disclosed.

- Assisting with the completion of a tender

- Assisting with a business’s procurement activities

Why do I collect this information?
I require this information to understand your business, to provide you with a quality service and to:
- Respond to your enquiries
- Inform you of potential opportunities and/or events
- Inform you of legislative changes
- Inform you of any news applicable to your business
- Inform you of any changes to the services I provide
- Assist you with the completion of a tender

Your rights in controlling your information
You can ask me to make changes in how your data is handled and I will respond promptly should a request be made. You have the following rights over the personal data about you that I am holding and processing:
Right to be informed: This Statement provides you with information in relation to how your data is processed. This ensures that I am transparent about what I will do with the information you supply to me.
Right of access. You may request details of personal information which I hold about you under the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation. This is called a Subject Access Request.
Right to request information held is accurate and how to update it: If you believe that any information I am holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will respond as quickly as possible.
Right to erasure: In certain circumstances, you may ask me to delete information about you and stop processing or publishing it (often called the Right to be Forgotten).
Right to object to the processing that is likely to cause you damage or distress: Where you challenge the accuracy or lawful processing of your information, I will consider this.
Right to receive an electronic copy of any information you have consented to me holding known as data portability: You can ask me to provide the personal data that I hold about you, securely and in a machine-readable format, so it can be moved, copied or transferred to be used across different services or for you to give to another organisation.
Right to object. I will ensure that I have the right consents in place for sending you information. You can contact me and ask me to stop sending you emails/notifications at any time by emailing me at email@example.com.
Rights related to automated decision making: If there is additional profiling based on the information I hold, then you can object to me making decisions about you based on such processing.
How long I hold your Information
Given the nature of my services, I will keep your information on file to assist with future assignments. If you wish me to no longer hold your information upon receipt of this statement or upon completion of an assignment, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will securely delete all records and information relating to your organisation. If you would like me to cease advising you of potential opportunities, events or providing you with general updates, please email me at email@example.com.
Where your information is stored
Your information is stored securely in the UK, however it may be stored or processed in any country from which I may temporarily be working.
Keeping your information secure
To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, I have in place suitable physical and electronic procedures to safeguard and secure the information I hold about your business. Should I at any time take on either permanent or temporary employees, they will be trained to ensure that they comply with my data security procedures.
I also have in place a security system which will block and hold messages that contain viruses and malware, spam messages or other inappropriate content.
Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system is completely secure. If you feel that the security of your information has been compromised, please contact me immediately. If such a disclosure does occur, I will contact you as soon as possible to explain what has happened and take all steps required of me to meet my obligations under the relevant legislation.
